Yes. Each portrait is created from your dog’s photo, with their features, markings, and expression preserved. Your portrait is also curated by a real person, and you’ll receive a preview before it’s printed so you can request changes if something doesn’t feel right.

Choose a clear photo where your dog’s face and eyes are easy to see. Photos that show the chest, front legs, or full pose often create the strongest portraits. Natural lighting helps, but most phone photos work well — upload your favorite and we’ll let you know if there’s an issue.

After you place your order, we create your custom dog portrait from the photo you uploaded. You’ll receive a preview within 1–2 days, and you can request adjustments before we print, frame, and ship it.

Yes. When your preview is ready, you can request changes before approving your portrait. We want the final piece to feel painterly, recognizable, and true to your dog.

If something doesn’t feel right, just let us know when you receive your preview. You can request adjustments before approval, and if we can’t get it right before printing, we’ll refund your order.

Your preview is usually ready within 1–2 days. Once you approve it, your portrait is printed, framed, and shipped. Most orders are delivered 5–7 days after approval.

Choose Stretched Canvas for a clean, ready-to-hang canvas portrait with a 1.25" deep profile, or upgrade to the Classic Walnut Frame for a finished framed look with a walnut-colored wood frame and acrylic front.

The size you choose refers to the portrait artwork size. If you choose the Classic Walnut Frame, the outside frame dimensions will be slightly larger than the selected portrait size.

The Classic Walnut Frame upgrade gives your canvas portrait a more polished, finished presentation. Your portrait is printed on premium canvas, affixed to foam board for a clean, stable surface, and finished in a walnut-colored real wood frame with an acrylic front.

The Classic Walnut Frame has a 0.875" wide × 0.875" deep frame profile and arrives ready to hang and display.

The portrait size you choose refers to the printed artwork size. The outside frame dimensions will be slightly larger than the selected portrait size.

Each portrait is designed for one dog so the result stays clear, composed, and true to them. If you have more than one dog, we recommend ordering a separate portrait for each one.

We currently ship within the United States. Shipping is free on all Portrait Path orders.

If your portrait arrives damaged, contact us with photos of the damage and packaging. We’ll make it right with a replacement or another appropriate solution.
